The National Student Information and Career Center has been founded in order to support the development of youth and student projects, contacts with international and national organizations on their different interests. The Center promotes cooperation with European NGOs, networks and institutions working in the field of youth problems.

About NSICC
NSICC is a non-governmental organization that has been established to meet the needs of young people in the field of youth information processing and career guidance. It is coordinating a network of youth information centers and information points nationwide. The center has developed and applies a strategy for founding of information and career services for students, which has been adopted by the respective Bulgarian authorities.
NSICC is organizing a number of training events and produced a number of materials related to youth information and career development. Youth information includes different sets of useful data for youngsters – career development possibilities, study possibilities, youth exchanges, health and prevention issues, funding possibilities, etc.

NSICC is the coordinator of the mGames project, aiming to develop methodology and mobile games suitable for the youth work.

Our Network
NSICC maintains close relations with a number of youth centers all over Bulgaria, especially in Varna and Plovdiv. They have established fruitful contacts with schools and universities in order to facilitate the young people needing specific information or advice regarding their free time or professional development.
NSICC is involved in initiatives, aiming at encouraging and enhancing the personal self-esteem of the young people by involving them in concrete activities. The center has very motivated team of youth workers in the field of career consulting of young people.
In the frame of common international projects NSICC maintains close contacts with institutions from Austria, Ireland, UK, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Liechtenstein.
NSICC has contacts with leading youth information centers from several European countries, namely UK, Spain, and Italy. It has participated in a number of international projects in the field of youth information and career development. It has contacts with youth information networks in Europe.
Latest Updates
December 2021
The Erasmus+ project Nowadays Digital Media Literacy, Artificial Intelligence and Youth Career Development (DigiAI) has been awarded by Erasmus+ National Agency for Bulgaria for quality development. The Valorization Conference took place on 17.12.2021 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The partnership was awarded for the quality of developed products including Online learning management system, Educational Movies, Competence Framework and Training activities. NSICC was delighted to be part of the project.
Project Update
Inclusive Digital Video Training project started. The main project results will include methodology and tools for using the inclusive video in the youth work.

NSICC has participated in joint meeting with student career centers from different universities. New quality indicators has been debated and introduced in the centers work.
Award
mGames project has been awarded by the National Agency (Human Resource Development Centre) during the valorization conference in December.
